Here are some of the projects we are working on!
1st Grade
Students learned about penguins and created their own by cutting and gluing paper shapes together. They decorated their penguin with fabric and felt clothes.
For their first painting project, students learn about abstract art. Students learn how to use paint and use it to create concentric circles on their paper.
We learn what a still life painting looks like and then we learn how to draw a flower. Students use their knowledge and oil pastels to create a picture of flowers in a vase.

2nd Grade
Students learn about architecture in Europe. They painted their own background and used black paint and cardboard to print their tower.
We learned all about Leonardo Da Vinci and how he was an artist and an inventor. Students invented their own robot that was able to do a chore that they didn't want to do.
Students learn about mysterious jellyfish. They use oil pastels and watercolor to create their own jellyfish.

3rd Grade
Students learned about the art of Claude Monet. Using watercolor, tempera paint, and oil pastels, students created their own bridge painting.
