Miss Fogg's Art Class

Hello! My name is Miss Fogg and I am your child's art teacher at South Side. I have been here for almost 4 years now and have learned a lot along the way. In my classroom, I work hard to create a program that teaches your child all about different styles and history of art. We spend time exploring materials and new ways to use them. While working on these projects, I try to instill other values such as persistence, hard work, creativity, problem solving and self confidence. I work with classroom teachers to connect lessons so they see art in and out of the art room. Art class is important and students are learning more than just how to draw and paint.

Important information

-Your child has art once a week

-Please don't have students wear brand new clothes on art day

-5th graders are eligible to apply for art club (a paper will be sent home)

-Most art is sent home in a portfolio at the end of the school year
